ISAF International 2026, Istanbul: What We're Showing At Booth 4B-59
Three days into the 30th ISAF International, here's what buyers from Türkiye, the Middle East and Central Asia keep asking us about video intercom systems - and the five architectures we brought to answer them.

ISAF International 2026 runs from 7 to 10 October at the Istanbul Expo Center (IFM) in Yeşilköy, Istanbul, and BCOM is exhibiting at Booth 4B-59. We brought one of everything: IP, IP + 4-wire hybrid, 4-wire, 2-wire and wireless video intercom systems, along with door stations, access control and indoor monitors. If you're planning a project and trying to work out which of those five you actually need, this post is for you.

What ISAF International 2026 actually is
This is the 30th edition of the show. The organiser's own figures give a sense of the scale: more than 350 booths, 800+ brands from 20+ countries, and roughly 3,000 international buyers among 30,000+ visitors. The floor is grouped around four themes - security, fire, smart buildings, and occupational safety and health - so five minutes of walking takes you past video surveillance, access control and fire detection equipment in the same aisle.
The visitor mix is the interesting part. Türkiye is a manufacturing market in its own right, so a good share of the conversations here are with distributors and installers who know exactly what they want and are comparing bills of materials and lead times rather than product categories. Alongside them we're meeting project contractors and importers from Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and the Turkic republics, who are specifying whole buildings instead of single units.
Five architectures, and how to choose between them
The biggest decision on an intercom project usually isn't screen size or camera resolution. It's the wiring. Everything else follows from what is already inside the walls.
Already have cabling in the building? Start with 2-wire
Most of the retrofit work we see in this region is apartment blocks built 10 to 20 years ago, where pulling new cable through risers is expensive and disruptive. A 2-wire bus system reuses the pair that is already there, which keeps labour down and in most cases means no redecorating afterwards. The 2-wire video door entry system is the one we ship most often for that job.
New build, or a high-rise? Go IP
On a new project there is not much of an argument. IP puts one network cable where you would otherwise run power and video separately, gives you PoE, and scales from a single villa to a tower without changing the architecture. Our IP range covers up to 2K image definition, human detection, answering calls through a phone app, and indoor monitors on either Linux or Android. For multi-dwelling buildings the IP video intercom for apartments is a sensible starting point, and for entrances where residents would rather not carry a key there is a TCP/IP face recognition door station.
Mixed estate, or a job that is already half-wired? Hybrid
Hybrid exists for the projects that fit neither box - a site where part of the install is analog and part is IP, or where the customer wants to add IP cameras without throwing away the analog ones. The IP + 4-wire hybrid system takes both, passes the IP cameras through to an NVR, and records all day without a separate recorder in the rack.
Nothing you can pull a cable through? Wireless and cloud
Some sites simply cannot be cabled: listed facades, thick stone walls, rented retail units. That is what the wireless video intercom system and our cloud intercom range are for - long-range wireless transmission, app control, remote monitoring, and portable desktop units that can be moved from room to room. If your catalogue needs a simple DIY product, we also have a 24V 1+1 villa kit with a 3.0MP+ IPS display.
Single villa? The 4-wire range is still the value pick
4-wire has been around for decades and for a single villa it is often still the cheapest thing to install and maintain. The current range is wider than most people expect: Quad AI systems that display four HD channels on one screen and double as a DVR; AI WiFi and WiFi models with 4-in-1 auto-detection for CVBS, AHD, CVI and TVI signals; and plain CVBS systems built for simple operation, with DIY-friendly terminal blocks, one- or two-relay lock and gate release, and optional built-in memory. The WiFi intercom system is the model visitors ask about most this week.
Comparing specifications against a project BOM - the conversation that decides which architecture wins.
The rest of the stand
Beyond the five systems, Booth 4B-59 also has entry devices - keypad and RFID door stations, outdoor doorbell cameras and smart door locks - indoor monitors including a 10-inch touchscreen model with a full smart home interface, an AI smart home control panel, a smart peephole, window intercom, CCTV cameras and baby monitors.
The hidden layer is on display too. The B05, B10, B20 and B50 chipset platform is our own design, and it is the reason the intercom, the door station and the app all behave like one product rather than three.

Sales and technical staff are on the stand for all four show days.
Where the hardware comes from
We have been building video intercom equipment since 2014, and only that. Development, tooling, production management, quality control and sales sit inside the same company, at a 35,000 m² site in Guangdong running 12 automated production lines and ISO-certified SMT lines, with 200+ employees and a dedicated R&D team. Around 30,000 units a month leave the factory, and they go to more than 50 countries.
Every product uses a private mould, key components come from China's top-tier suppliers, and each unit goes through 100% compliance testing plus a 48-hour aging process before it ships. That is the difference between buying from a factory and buying from a trading company: when you ask for a different housing or a different button layout, the tooling is in our building, not a subcontractor's.

Certificates, and what they save you
BCOM is an ISO 9001-certified manufacturer, and 100% of our security products carry CE, FCC and RoHS approval. Beyond that, REACH, RED and IP/IK rating certificates are available where a market requires them, and EU RED test reports (EN 300 328, EN 301 489-17) can be supplied to support European market entry and your local certification process. The company has held National High-Tech Enterprise status since 2018 and holds 100+ patents.
One practical note if you are importing into the EU: ask for the RED reports while you are standing at the booth. Chasing certification documents after the purchase order is raised is the part that quietly adds weeks to a launch.
