Canton Fair 2026, Phase 1: What Goes on Our Walls at Booth 17.2E03

Six days out from the 140th Canton Fair, here's the range going into Guangzhou - and the one question that decides which system a project actually needs.

The 140th Canton Fair opens on 15 October 2026, and BCOM is exhibiting in Phase 1 - 15 to 19 October - at Booth 17.2E03 in the Canton Fair Complex, Guangzhou. Since 2014 we have made one thing: video intercom systems, sold as OEM and ODM to importers, distributors and installers. This year's stand carries the whole range, and this post is a preview of what will be on it.

The stand design for Phase 1: product panels on both walls, a demo counter, and the chipset and wiring diagrams along the lower rail.

What Phase 1 covers

Phase 1 runs 15–19 October and covers home appliances, consumer electronics and information products, industrial automation, machinery, power equipment, new materials and new energy. The 140th edition is the first to run a fully digital pre-registration cycle, and the organiser puts overseas buyer pre-registrations above 210,000 (Canton Fair official site).

Practically, that means the hall fills with electronics distributors, appliance importers and project buyers working several sourcing categories in the same trip. It is a different crowd from a security-only show, and the conversations are different too: fewer spec-sheet comparisons, more questions about MOQ, lead time and whether the product can carry the buyer's own brand.

What goes on the stand

The wall is organised by system architecture rather than by model number, because that is the order in which buyers actually decide. Five lines run left to right.

IP video intercom

Networked systems for apartment buildings and villas: PoE door stations, indoor monitors from 7 to 10 inches, app answering, and a choice of Linux or Android indoor units. If your market is high-rise residential, this is the line to start with - see the IP video intercom range, or the IP video intercom for apartments as a concrete example of how a multi-dwelling build is put together.

4-wire video intercom

The widest line we make, and still the best fit for single villas and small commercial entrances. On the wall: WiFi models that pair with the Tuya app, outdoor stations with IP65 and IP66 housings, and recorded models up to 128 GB. Start at the 4-wire video intercom range; the WiFi intercom system and the Tuya smart video doorbell camera are the two we expect to demo most.

2-wire video intercom

For buildings that already have a pair of conductors in the riser. This is the line that saves the most money on a retrofit, because it removes the cable-pulling and the redecorating with it. See the 2-wire video intercom range, or the 2-wire video door entry system for the standard configuration.

Wireless intercom

Two sub-lines, and buyers usually need one or the other. The 2.4 GHz video range runs on a built-in battery with no cabling at all, and the audio range uses 433 MHz to cover up to 1,000 m in open air without a SIM card or a network. Both are on the wireless video intercom and long-distance wireless audio intercom pages.

Access control and the smart home panel

A smaller section of the wall, but a growing share of enquiries. Face recognition and SIP door stations, keypad and RFID entry, and the AI smart home controller that ties the intercom to lighting and scenes. The 83204 face recognition door station and the standalone access control system cover most of what gets asked.

Why five lines instead of a hero product

On a real project the wiring usually decides before the specification does. A 20-year-old apartment block with a working pair in the riser is a 2-wire job, however much better the IP catalogue looks on paper. New-build towers go IP. Half-finished retrofits and mixed estates are what the hybrid configurations are for. And where nobody is going to drill a listed facade or a rented unit, wireless is the only thing that ships.

So bring the floor plan and the number of apartments, and we will point at the line that applies - including the times when that is the cheaper one. If you would rather compare before you travel, the full product list is already online, and it is the same range that goes on the wall.

While we set up

The stand design is signed off, the demo units are being loaded with current firmware, and sample stock is being packed for the trip. If there is a specific model you want to see working rather than photographed, tell us before the 15th and we will make sure it travels with the team. OEM and ODM enquiries - private moulds, housing, UI, logo printing, multilingual manuals and gift-box design - get a faster answer if you send the requirement ahead of the show.

Frequently asked questions

When is BCOM at the 140th Canton Fair?

Phase 1 only: 15 to 19 October 2026, at Booth 17.2E03 in the Canton Fair Complex, Guangzhou.

What products will be on display?

IP, 4-wire, 2-wire and wireless video intercom systems, long-distance wireless audio intercom, access control and face recognition door stations, indoor monitors, and the AI smart home control panel.

Do you supply OEM and ODM?

Yes. ODM covers PCBA, housing, UI and function design. OEM covers logo printing, multilingual manuals and gift-box design.

Which intercom system suits an existing apartment building?

In most cases a 2-wire bus system, because it reuses the cabling already in the building. If the block also needs IP cameras, a hybrid IP configuration covers both.

Can I book a meeting before the show opens?

Yes - email sales586@bcomtech.cn with your product interest and the day you plan to attend, and the team will have samples and documentation ready.
